Industrial hemp (Cannabis sativa) is not the same plant known for its psychoactive properties. Unlike marijuana, hemp contains a minute level of the chemical.

Agri Fibre Industries has developed exclusive Intellectual Property (IP) in the form of a reliable, quick and highly economical test for THC (delta 9-tetrahydrocannabinol) which has been used in the breeding program to lower the THC content in all of our varieties. The average THC level in AFI varieties  is now one fifth of the legal limit.
